Credentials you can trust.
If
you are like most patients, you never ask about a doctor’s
qualifications or credentials. And, if you’re like most
patients, you probably should ask. Because the success of
your care and treatment often relies on those qualifications.
Dr.
Sutker is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who completed
fellowship training in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the
world-renowned Duke University Medical Center. He has authored
numerous medical publications and has received several awards
for his research and teaching as a clinical assistant professor
of orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science
Center in San Antonio.
What’s
more, he is one of only a handful of surgeons in Georgia who
are members of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand,
the most elite and respected organization in his field. He
is also one of the very few orthopedic surgeons who specialize
in both hand and elbow trauma and reconstruction.
In
fact, he’s one of the best choices you can make when
you or a loved one needs help with a hand, wrist, elbow or
shoulder problem. For credentials and qualifications you can
trust, look to Benjamin D. Sutker, MD.
Experience
is one of the foundations of excellence.
"Delivering
leading-edge care wouldn't be possible without my prior
experience in hand surgery and my advanced training. And
it wouldn't be possible if I didn't have such wonderful
patients who have taught me so much about the wide variety
of hand problems people suffer from. Prior to returning
home to the Southeast, I was an attending surgeon at a very
busy hand surgery practice in Texas and taught hand and
upper extremity surgery to hand fellows and orthopedic residents
at one of the premier hand surgery training programs in
the country. My academic background, training and experience,
coupled with my easygoing demeanor, means my patients are
getting exceptional care that can improve their quality
of life more effectively and faster than ever.
"Patient-centered
care can make all the difference in the world. Here at Southeastern
Orthopedic Center, you will be treated with respect and
compassion. You won't wait long for your appointment. And
I will spend the time necessary to educate you about your
condition and what to expect from your treatment. It's the
same high level of care that I would want for my own family."
